thanks for the very interesting replies, this may catch on in the UK after all.
its a pain taking the cover off when you take the boat out and most days it bloody cold when doing a trip so you need...

yes most of our cruising is done from the flybridge unless it gets rough then we drive from below.
that just made me think,...... we have had several rough trips in the north sea or channel island...

Thanks Chris, that helps a lot and we like the idea of enclosed, would like to do that on our boat here in the UK but never seen one done.

Hi, we are looking at flybridge boats for sale in the USA east coast / florida and noticed that most have full enclosed flybridges... why is this ???
the weather is much better there than here in...
