Are you sail or power. I was just at Beaufort Yacht Harbor on Town Creek side. Great marina, kind of tight going in there with private markers, water kind of skinny about 6ft. Close to town, nice...

I'm certain the only moorings are a couple private ones. The city did clean out the anchorage so you can anchor. The main docks are good, there is some current there. Over on Town Creek side less...
