It is a Macgregor, 26 foot....

Two people died:


Father and Son: Jun Chen 48 San Diego and Chau Chen 73 of San Diego.

The boat was run...

more info (albeit confused) from different sources.
some claim it is a 26' boat. Others 35'. Some witnesses said that the keel was not down.

reading the above linked 2002 story, it turns out that the fatalities were children WITH life vests that got tangled in the boat.....

Sketchy info.. but in San Diego, by Shelter Island there was a capsize with loss of life... :(
