Our entire anchorage was boarded down in the Jamentos and there was no request to count fishing poles! Interesting how experiences vary!

Have checked in twice, watched several other check ins and spoken to dozens of cruisers on the subject of checking in.....have never heard an issue on spare parts....in packages out of packages...

Settlements you mention all big settlements on an island (Eluethera) with a fairly large and sophisticated population......of course good selections. Staniel Cay's 3 stores all

Epic....I have such a guide but it may be a tad dated....all good Cruising guides have this info like Waterway Guude and Explorer Charts ( BTW....you NEED Explorer Charts )

There are many marinas thru out the Bahamas where you can "pull up and fill up"...some charge flat daily rates anywhere from 8 to 12 a day....some by the gallon....).40 to $.50 a gallon seems...

Shopping for price in Bahamas sounds wonderful.....we do and often find some lower prices but if one travels extensively , especially in the smaller islands just finding a store with inventory is a...

Bring all the food and booze you can fit on the boat....wine IS very expensive....approx 2-3 times what you pay in the States....any 10-15 dollar bottle of wine is cheap stuff!
