Yes its adviseable to have a second battery charger if you have a 750AH total bank. Especially if you have 12V holding plate refrigeration, which needs a lot of DC current over a 2 hour period, you...

There is another consideration not mentioned. OP did not describe well enough his watermaker and refrigeration systems. On our boat we have 12V watermaker and reefer. Glacier Bay eutectic cold...
