I used plastic tongue and groove. Was easy to do and should last forever. Wood planking sounds very thick for this purpose

i am thinking of doing the same type of thing only i have a white plastic board available here-- i was thinking to glue some cross rafters in place with 5200 ( thought it might flex a bit more than...
