Yes, I've made many KAP charts out of Google earth images and they've been great. I actually have KAP charts loaded into OpenCPN for the Chilean channels, I was just missing the one...

Yes, I'll see what the Chilean government's policies on bringing in epoxy and go from there. I've found lots of Polyester resins here and will use that if the epoxy route proves too...
