BTW, perhaps it's best to think of the bow thruster more as a station keeping tool for the bow, or relatively so. Such that it's used to keep the bow in the same spot, or a "safe" spot. While you use... |

As a disclaimer, I've not driven much with bow thrusters, & was just taught to use the prop, rudder, & lines to control the boat. Anything from 5m to 200m. And it really, really pays to get some... |
