What kind of ford? My SP 135 lehman raw water pump has a splined shaft for the impeller and it is gear driven on the other end. There is no "key".

When I change the RW impeller on my SP 135 Lehman, I always have to remove the water lines from the pump to gain easy access to the face plate. If you did too, I'd check to make sure you hooked the...
