In my experience this isn't the case. Sure, if you are soaking pourous wood then material will end up inaccessible, deep below the surface. But on teak that was in good condition, and sanded up... |

They are suggesting using it as a primer.... So the "waterproofing" of the CPES coat is irrelevant. When used as a primer, and the solvents have an opportunity to evaporate off before it... |
