Double U. That's it! When I looked at pictures of the Manson I didn't think that was it. But following the link you provided showed the exact same anchor. My 50+lb one broke and I decided to not have...

This is an old thread but I just found out something about those balls on the anchors. One of my anchors broke so I was getting ready to take it to the recycling/scrap yard. Since the balls are not...

Since I posted this question there have been many interesting responses and many more responses having nothing to do with the question. Currently I'm sitting on a mooring and won't be using/testing...

I'll take another picture and try to get a better angle showing more of the anchor.

The balls on the end are not removable. I thought they might be there to protect the boat and people also. ...

Danforth type anchor question

When I bought my current boat it had 2 Danforth type anchors (along with a CQR and a Bruce). But these Danforth anchors had something I've never seen before and I'm not sure if it makes a difference....
