Boatpoker, I'll agree that not all boat owners are skilled tradesmen... plenty of evidence for that, but there are quite a few with reasonable skill sets and the time to exercise them successfully... |

OOps, Forgot one biggie: Had the mast pulled, some minor cracks in the spreader bases welded up, a new forestay added, a new led deck light and a radar mount fabricated. Again dictated by... |

Well Randy, we have been on board for 28 years or so, and these are the things that we've hired out in all that time: Construct hard dodger on Insatiable I in NZed (no shop, no woodworking tools)... |
