Yes, they are useful but don't overcome physics. The shallower water the less distance you see ahead and therefore the slower you want to be going to make good use of the tool. |

I agree with you, when my boat goes over an area that is shallower than its draft it runs aground. What's the point? I also agree that getting a Forward Looking Sonar is fairly far down the... |
