But really whether one needs a diver etc isn't the point as I would expect this to be...

The last 2 years all I've had to clean is the water line of the hull. And I used fairly cheap AF paint. So using an expensive AF that needs more cleaning is still missing the point! If I'm going to...

Misses the point that if a bottom paint needs a diver regularly, maybe there are better choices.

If I have to have a diver on regular basis I'm not interested. I don't need this now with standard paint.

No thanks I have no interest in turning my boat into a general experiment for others. Which is why I asked the question of a manufacturer whose job it is to do such things!

I'm not going to just accept the need to strip the paint. Expoy paint will normally stick to anything and most things stick to it. If the boat is barrier coated, and the current hard botton anti-foul...

New question - why does the old paint need to be stripped? Why wouldn't copper coat stick to old hard anti-foul painted bottom?

How about some use/cost comparisons to various bottom paints? And if you this is needs to be easy to take out hauling costs as in the NE we do this every year anyway.

Would you have to strip all...
