I don't know what you mean by BINGO. The "fine payers" are making to the decision to not be insured, period! Not to wait till after they get sick, which is too late and I don't think possible to get...

I don't think this is true, but it doesn't seem anyone really knows the answer which is the point of the thread to me. I think you would have already had signed up for the insurance during the yearly...

For those that had saying their costs are lower with the ACA, are you only looking at a policy for the US?

My understanding was that the ACA exchanges wouldn't really cover you outside the USA.

People need to keep in mind that for those answers that involve "self insurance" for big things where they say they will "hop on a plane to XX" or to those that say if something happens they will...

It would seem that for a US cruiser living OUTSIDE the US that the only thing that has changed would be the fine (tax) you would owe for not having a ACA plan. My understanding is that fine is kind...
