Port Hinchinbrook marina was wiped from the face of the planet by Yasi. No bareboats, or much of anything else, there no more :(

Definitely the Whitsundays for bareboats. As for a week stay on land, I think Airlie would be fine for the most part as it is a very laid back little town. If you don't like the tourist crowds though...
