Same same my system. However I can run the engine for several hours quite happily and then have the pump lose prime.... happens if she takes a heavy roll to port.... cooling intake is right next... |

What I do when changing a raw water impeller.. Close seacock. Change impeller. Take the top off the raw water strainer which should be situated somewhere between seacock and pump, maybe 12... |
