If you have even remotely half decent refrigeration there is no reason you can't eat 'fresh' meat for 6 or 7 weeks.
Just get a butcher who knows what he is doing to vacuum pack it and freeze it down...

Grass fed free range cow farmer if you don't mind...... :smile:

The stuff in tins is parts of the cow/pig/chook that have no name....

Hormel's 'Picnic Ham' may be just the thing for you.... it contains 'mechanicaly separated chicken' :smile:

I passed on it having read the label.... once however I did buy a dozen tins of Spam.......
