In the UK I've only seen orange/red outer hose with black layer inside. I've seen 2 sizes, (about) 5/8 and 3/4" outer, 1/4 and 5/16" inner. There may be more sizes and types, I don't know. |

As far as I know propane pressure will only tell you when there's an existing leak? I don't think it will tell you when your copper pipe has corroded to the point where a leak is just waiting for the... |

I've just read the Practical Sailor article but it doesn't say whether the rat recovered? :D Accidental damage and degradation of the hose or pipe and fittings over time are my main concerns.... |

Good to see I'm not alone in thinking that copper isn't the best material for lpg pipes. Going to replace mine this summer. |

I'm going to have to address the same issues soon. My butane system is 9 years old, professionally fitted, boat was MCA coded but isn't now. 8mm. copper pipe has been used with brass bulkhead... |
