oil is held in the filter and in the associated oil passages. Anytime a filter is removed oil dribbles out. A few min with paper...

if it worry's you. get another filter and swap...

if it worry's you. get another filter and swap them out. The new dry filter will lower the oil volume to below the high mark. running between the marks is acceptable.
