The 7 KW minimum genset recommendation from Bauer was based on your Junior II 115/2hp motor. The standard 3hp motor would be a bit of a stretch and would most likely damage...

9kW is usually no problem running one of the small compressors. It is the guy that insists on putting one of our babies on a 5kW or smaller gen set that we have to caution. When we get that small,...

Your compressor should be mounted where it can get plenty of fresh cooling air flowing across it. One of my past installations was in an engine room and it had it's own ventilation duct blowing...

OK ... here is our official stand on powering compressors.

7kw is the minimum size for running the MCH6. Our techs prefer that we say 9kw because too many people have tried to run the compressor...
