Check sailboatdata.com for the Sovereign's displacement. I imagine it's about 3500 pounds or north of that. If your van has an eight cylinder I'm thinking you'd be OK, but check with manufacturer. I...

Can you tell me if the Seaward 22 has a balsa core deck? I'm looking at a pretty nice one (1988) and wondered what issues they may have. Thanks.

Do you know the actual draft for sure on the Sov. 24?? I'm close to bying a 1990 Sovereign 24, but need no more than a 2 foot 4 inch draft max. Others say the draft is 2 foot 7 inches! Any info you...
