Ahhhhh good point Martin. It does have a LOT of pieces to it. And it is mostly bare of all protection but in good condition.

I bought her in Feb 2015 and at the time the wheel was okay. But over this last spring and summer it kind of just fell apart. lol.

I have been doing bright work all summer it'd be...

Thanks. That last bit is what has been happening over the last couple years: the epoxy is flaking off in large pieces so before it is destroyed by another season of winter wet I wanted to reseal it.

Sealing wood properly

Hello all,

I wish to revarnish my wheel but I am unsure whether to epoxy then varnish or varnish then seal with epoxy.

Which is the best method?
