You could consider adding battery capacity.

Limiting how often you open the door and how long you leave it open will help. The cold air falls out when the door is opened.

A refrigerator will have a thermostat that has the compressor start and stop to maintain the temperature that it is set for. The compressor does not run constantly unless it is unable to keep up...
