Just another thought. For about USD 1K you can create an offshore company in HK and have personal introduction to your bank and fully working account in about 1 week. Can be BVI, Jersey or anywhere...

When I moved to HK I opened accounts at HSBC, Standard Chartered and China Banks. Just needed a valid Passport/ID and couple of bills to show that I had an address in HK so probably need to do a...
