For hundreds if not thousands of years folks have been sailing boats with no motors at all. Many of those folks would view what some are calling an under powered gas guzzling outboard as a god send...

Anyone know just how much extra weight is involved in adding an inboard. Prop, shaft, struts, stuffing box, transmission, alternator/generator, starter, and maybe other stuff need to be mentioned.

Approaching three years with out docking and relying on my solar to run an Engle and a Frigaboat 24/7 along with charging electronics for navigation and entertainment and lights. 430 amp house bank...
