220v light bulb
I have a 12v DC to 220v 50 Hz AC 250w inverter and I want test.I want to take two 120v AC light bulbs and put them in series to make one 220v bulb. I was going to use 200w bulbs. Is that possible? |

I realize the Hz problem, but an appliance doesn't care if the 220v is split phase or single phase. If you order say a Yamaha 5kw generator and look how they wire it for 220v 50Hz, they just lower... |

Can't you take 220v, without the neutral, from the US shore power and connect it to the 220v European boat. I've seen European boats take their shore power plug and put a 220v 50A 4 wire plug on... |

I was given this inverter and want to check it out. Can I put United States 230v 60 HZ without the neutral and use it for testing with a resistive load. |

Watt Hour
If I have a 210ah 12v battery I get about 2520 watt hours. If I take two of these batteries and put them in series for 210ah at 24v do I still get 2520 watt hours or 5040 watt hours. |

if limiting your load to less than 20a on a 20a breaker, how could that possibly cause a fire. |

Thank you very much. this settled a discussion I've been having with a fellow employee. It started with you having to make sure the 120V load is well balanced because now you only have 20A at 120V... |

If you have a generator rated with a 40A single pole breaker wouldn't you change it to a 20A double pole breaker if you switch the generator to 240V output. Isn't a double pole breaker just two... |

the four 12v flex panels don't produce enough output volts when in series - parallel to work. Even though Blue Sky said 48v was to high I've had it set up in series since I first posted this... |
