Re: Leave outboard up or down in salt water?

Re: Tohatsu outboard whine ??
Havnt strained the oil , but the noise appears to not come from the lower end... Bear in mind this is a fault that is not unique - it's a well-known complaint. Neutral is without the whine.... I'm... |

Re: Tohatsu 6HP vs Honda 5HP
I've now had 2 tohatsu 6hp... Both are not the easiest starters... It takes a particular combination of no choke/choke/throttle to be reliable , which I've now got ✅ But it still gives me a spot... |

Re: Termite Eradication
Thanks , yes , the forward hatch is open with the dinghy over it to stop rain. But heavy rain with wind introduces moisture as a fine spray... Problem acknowledged... Thanks |

Re: Termite Eradication
Yes , I'm looking at that , but I'm not sure if the local Genus of termite is susceptible to that product , my research has found several different species of fungi that work , and now I'm not sure... |

Re: Termite Eradication
The engine needs work , and the rigging needs replacing , plus the sails are old... It's more of a liveaboard at present.. |
