That is a really good thought. Take a look at that photos he uploaded. It looks like that could be a 2:1 transformer.

As I think about my earlier post...

I think I typed that up without thinking it through fully. I don't think an isolation transformer would do much to filter out the noise that can make its way...

A few ideas. None of them would seem super common:

Hi all,

I'm using the current releases of opencpn for windows and the radar_pi plugin and have a Simrad 4G radar. I only have a few hours of use with the set up. So far ut has worked beautifully...

My last boat (a 1977 42' Californian) was 5 turns stop-to-stop.
My present boat has an adjustable pump. It was adjusted to 6 turns stop-to-stop when I bought it and 5 turns now.

I know this thread is old as heck, but I'm hoping someone has discovered the answer since. I have an SRN navigator in my system and like to program, so I just want to be able to play with then files....
