Re: Winch plates bent on my mast winches
When you take the winch off the mounting plate I believe you will find the casting is not flat on the bottom, but concave. The edge of the winch has cracked and broken off. I can see another crack... |

It looks like chrome plated steel with a bit of undercut on the weld. Just clean it periodically as outlined above. There are numerous kinds of stainless that have magnetic properties, the old magnet... |

Sounds like your basic 120 volt electric crane. Unscrew the plastic cover and plug in a 120 volt cord and hit the down button. Make sure it's actually 120 and not 12 or 24 V.:thumb: |
