I agree with #11. Get the Perkins re-manufactured and dynamometer tested by a Perkins expert. No need to mess around with new engine mounts and changing all the other connections....and less...

All good advice, good quality valves. Also, remove the square headed plug....(probably 1/8" NPT thread)..install a grease nipple and grease while moving the hanle between open/close. Remove grease...
