Re: Keel bolt inspection help

Re: Who is Running Ethanol Gasoline From The Gas Station with Dinghy Motor?

Weird question. I'm in New England and I've been running gas station fuel in my outboards for 25 years. Sometimes I remember to put stabil in it for the winter.

Where do I buy this fancy gas?

Re: Grinding away galvanized Rocna

So you've identified the problem, then. Fix that?

Your plan leaves you with a questionable shank and a questionable bow roller. Google rocna bent shanks for some additional inspiration to...

Re: Island Packet 420 Sinks Off CT Mooring

Posters claiming they can't imagine their mooring lines and bow anchor deciding to play together ought to consider what happens if high winds come from the direction of maximum fetch in your mooring...

Island Packet 420 Sinks Off CT Mooring

I believe that hull shape shown is a "full keel with cutaway forefoot", exactly like my boat. And on mine, the ballast is indeed bolted on.

Everyone assumes it is encapsulated due to the...

Re: Island Packet 420 Sinks Off CT Mooring

It should be!

I remove my anchor for a strong storm. Even so, it's roller managed to scoop up one of my mooring pendants while hobby horsing and it chafed halfway through - now I remove the...

Or go to a plumbing supply, home depot, etc. While they wont have exactly that, they'll have various parts you can assemble to end up with a barb fitting on one end, a threaded female on the...

Hookah System?

And there is no meaningful unit, at least for the purposes of this conversation, as "amp/hours".

Amp is already an instantaneous (per unit time) unit, "amp/hours" implies a rate of change in...
