I agree with your .cvsignore comments, and especially some of the removals. Generated files should not be checked into cvs. I think it's important...

Great - the stack backtrace tells all. It appears that the problem is in getting the default language - it doesn't look like there is one, and the code isn't handling it very well...

I've (finally!) checked in a solution and VC project file to CVS, and updated the README accordingly (removed most watcom stuff, ...).

The vcproj is basically like the unofficial ones going...
