Hi Bob I am getting the 200Ah package and upgrading to a 100A alternator. The boat is a J35c and we are going with 5 crew. We plan to be pretty energy miserly, perhaps as low as 50-60Ah/day; the boat is not equipped with too much in the way of energy consumers, so LED lights and communications will be about it. At the moment, I am not thinking about a back up charging system. We are planning a bit of a shake down sail the week of April 12. --Jim

Bob We are just down the estuary at Marina Village. My wife and I live in Colorado, so the Pac Cup prep is a bit of a challenge logistically. I have picked the Genasun Batteries and BMS but they are not installed yet. It will be a tight fit no doubt. Jim

Tinkerer I am also going to Kaneohe this summer and couldn't seem to fit a PbA battery bank into our boat. We should swap ideas. Brainwaves
