Biography

My name is Micus Greeff.

I have been sailing since i could remember. My parents took us out of school aged 13. My teenage years was spent cruising half the world with my parents Bush and Ronell and brother Rian. We sailed the east coast of Africa, then went around the Cape and went to Brazil, Carribean, through Panama, motor sailed all the way to California while surfing good waves in Costa Rica and Mexico. I got of our boat in Ventura, California. I was aged 19, i went back home to study mechanical engineering. My family stayed behind and eventually a year later sold our boat Yetagan, a 39' steel Barens sea trader.

I have been working as a mechanical draughtsman for 7 years. I bought Maverick a year ago with the intention to have a long extended surfing holiday.
