The Pfeiffer boom vang may extend further than 60" but not much. It has never been used so I can't be sure. It appears that it will compress about 8" on a heavy spring as opposed to hydraulics. The outer tube is 2 7/8" diameter and the inner tube is 1 3/4". The pin that holds the vang to the mast bracket is 3/8" diam. and the pin that attaches to the 31" track is 1/2" diam. the 14 adjustment holes on the track are 2" apart.
I will try to post some photos.

Each of the triple blocks will easily take 1/2" rope.
