Hello, I am considering building a solar arch on my 1987 C&C 35 MKIII and I came across you’re profile while searching for carbon fiber solar arches. Very nice work and I would love to chat with you about your efforts. I see you are in San Diego. I have my boat in America’s Cup Harbor in San Diego. Please let me know if you are open in discussing your work. Thanks, Robert
Curious how your refit is coming? This model boat was very high on my list but financially was just beyond reach. What prompted such a dramatic project?
Fantastic work on your boat! Some advice please. I am considering buying the exact same boat but it has rot in the port saloon bulkhead - leaks in the main chainplates. The area above and inboard of the settee corner is damp to meter readings and on the other side of the bulkhead inside there is a large spongy patch underneath where the top bunk attaches. Do you have any thoughts that would help me get my head around the job? I am quite skilled as a woodworker and I have worked lots in glass building/repairing smaller boats, but have not replaced a bulkhead on a big boat. Any ideas would help. What do you think would be the cost to have it done professionally? regards Ferguson
