    Hello!

I just accidentally ran across a posting from your trip to Hawaii searching on pictures of double head sail boats.

What REALLY caught my eye was your open space frame mast! I have been dreaming of such a thing (why are MORE boats built that way??) and thought it was just a fantasy. But low and behold your boat has one! Can you tell me more. There must be an incredible back story..

    Thanks

Hi! Primarily used for island hopping. STOL without the pontoons and is ideal for distant SCUBA diving remote sites. Have a great day! Mauritz

Nah...I never went sailing in NM yet but hope to soon....I did packing out of the Sierras in California for years...till it got too crowded and therefore too regimented... all my lake sailing has been in Northern California, its still great country for that....

as you may know, sailing plans are written in sand ............. at low tide ... our plans so far: Curacao - Cuba - San Blas - Colon - through the canal to Panama - the islands - Galapagos - Marquesas and slowly on to Australia etc etc ... Mexico is not in our itinerary ... could say "not yet", but I don't think so ... we don't have the time and have to make choices ...

hahahaha ... one of my daughter's quotes (my favourite): assumptions are the mother of all **** ups hahaha ... I was looking for "crew wanted" for a female friend ... she is on "my" boat right now, the one I have been boatsitting the last 3 months, while the owner was gone ... the owner is back, needed crew and found her to join him to st Maarten ... from there she is looking for another boat to the Med, Europe etc ... the owner of "my" boat is coming back to Curacao in June, I move on board, keep working a little longer for extra saving $$$ (no rent to pay for my house anymore), then we leave for the Pacific end of the year ... that's roughly my plan ... ooh, the boat (not my boat of course hahaha) is a HallbergRassy42 E ketch ...

heading back to Europe?? hahaha, why would I? ... I live and work on Curaçao, but I'm getting prepared to leave the island and the Carib and go/sail to the Pacific, yihaaaaaaaaaaa ...
