Hey Simon,

I see your from Sarasota as well, where do you keep your boat? I'm over at the Sailing Squadron off of Ken Thompson Parkway. It's nice to see someone from the same area.

As I said in the post, I'm leaving this Friday for 10 days for my first keys trip. Where did you stay when you went? I'm looking for somewhere to anchor that is relatively inexpensive and somewhat sheltered. It'd be nice to be in dinghy distance of a populated place with some night life, but my biggest concern is somewhere with safe holding.

Any other tips or information that you learned from your trip that you wouldn't mind passing along would be great.
