Hi, I recently bought a boat built by John Hutton . I am having a difficult time finding any information about this S.v. Metal Magic is her name , built on Oahu .I was told he had built several others. If you have any info on her or any other of his boats would you mind sharing .

    Hi SailorKeddy!
I am a new user, but not new to the site. I always come here when I have a question and search the threads. I am looking to get some miles and I noticed your post. i have limited ocean time. Miami to Key west and back and some time sailing around Bimini. I tried to look at your website but it just puts up the blue host banner and nothing else. (Do you listen to Sail Loot Pod Cast?) I retired in Sept of 2016 (42yrs old) and plan on buying my own blue water boat. I would like to get as much experience in on the water and meeting people in the community as possible before I make a big ticket purchase. I'm in Texas, but I can move pretty quick to any port needed. I actually enjoy cleaning boats and I am world class bartender and cook. If I do say so myself. If you have any gaps you need filled in the upcoming months drop me a line. Ill get some picks up of my super clean boats soon. Smile and have a great day.

Hi, I read about the designers of Tamata, John and Ned Hutton. I previously owned a boat built by Hutton. I met John in Honolulu somwhere around 1992 / 1993. Soon after I started sailing the S. Pacific and had heard that John was killed in a car accident about six months after I had met him. I do not know about Ned.
