Still haven't left
Were in ft. Lauderdale now. Planning on leaving tomorrow evening around 5ish to give us plenty of light Saturday to navigate in to west end.
Hi Will. I was born in Turkey and has been living in Virginia last 35 years. I have been around boats since childhood (mostly wood powerboats, and a ferro cement boat one of my uncle had for a while) My wife and I still sail our 14' Hunter in Kezar lake in Main where we have a cottage recently we purchased 33' Hunter which I brought back from Florida to Norfolk where a friend joined me for a long day sail and motor to Herrington Harbour where we keep the boat. I also have 2 cousins with 42' Elling and 31 Searay which I maintain for them and use since I'm flexiable with my job. I'm 54,fit non smoker. I like to do some more sailing other than Chesapeake or Med before we ship the sailboat and the Elling to Spain or Portugal and sail to Turkey where we like to keep the boats next 5 to 7 years. You can reach me at my cell 703 928-5345. we can meet if you have time in coming weeks
Best

Did I see that you hit a container at sea? I have a colleague at NPR who's doing a story about the subject. He'd be interested to talk to you if you're amenable. Thanks, Scott
