Hi, I saw that you offered advice to someone about to buy a Prout Snowgoose Elite.
I'm getting serious about a 1993, and if you don't mind, would appreciate any opinions or guidance.
it appears i cannot share the URL, but its the 1993 Prout Snowgoose Elite offered by whiteaker yacht sales. com

    Thank you.

    Moggie!
Hows it going? I just found your post on this forum regarding Snowgoose.
My current story. I found a snowgoose in Baja that I should be purchasing in December. Lots of work to be done and this happens to be my first boat. I helped get a Gemeni 3000 sea worthy (in & out, top to bottom).

As of now I'm prepared to re-power, as the current Yanmar seems to have been blown. My biggest concern is finding an engine the will mount in easily with the sillette drive.

I suppose I just want to see what your thought process would be. I've found another 30 HP yanmar in SF (where I am), just not sure how easily they swap in and out.

Obviously I'm sure you have a ton of other insight that I would find helpful. If you have the time, I'm all ears.

    Brandon
