    Hi Jackie,
We've communicated before a while back when I was asking your opinion on handling a CT 54 as a couple.
We are getting nearer our cruising goal, house is on the market (in Australia). We are looking at Vagabong 47s at one end of the range, through Formosa 51/Hudson Force 50s, and CT54s at the top end, both in size and budget.
We are very familiar with the usual issues with Taiwanese built boats in the 70s and 80s.
There is just 1 CT54 that may be within reach, if we get what we're hoping to from the house, and I was wondering if by chance you may be familiar with it. It's a 1981 build and is on Yachtworld. Located in Netherlands Antilles, it's name is Iris.
If you happen to know the boat, or owners, you may be able to give an opinion without the usual brokers' spin. ie. great boat... that one even the cockroaches are scared to board etc...
Hope to hear from you soon.
    Cheers,
    Vic (and Sandra)

Saw your old add re: an Allied Chance 30/30. Back in 1979 to early 1980's I owned a Chance 30/30 named "Distant Drum"...they weren't too common...I wondered if this were her???

She brought me back from Cozumel to Texas through hurricane Bob in 1979!

    Steve
