    Biography
    A native of south Texas, I decided last year that I would learn to sail. I went to Maine, a place allegedly crawling with mariners, and found a sailboat going south. For the next four months, I sailed on the Black Pig with a fantastic crew all the way to New Orleans, mostly offshore, and with a busted-enough engine that we took our sailing very seriously. I'm excited to spend more time this summer on the water with good friends, new and old.
