    John,
I hope we can meet you either at Sucia or somewhere in the SJ's after July 6.
We'll be leaving Whidbey on 7/6/2010 for a month. No particular schedule, but we were going to go to Barkley. The get together sounded like fun so we changed our plans. Let us know what you would like to do.
PS I've got a really powerful internet grabbing system aboard. I'll be a "hotspot". In Lagoon Point, I get about 60 LANS, 6 of which are unsecured. A couple of days ago, we did an overnight to Mats Mats Bay.
Not expecting anything, I got 13 unsecured networks!
For us, internet access is pretty much anywhere. Might as well take advantage of people's laziness. (Nothing nefarious, of course!)

    John,

We've decided to be at the Sucia thing in July. Probably around the tenth or so of July.
Janet and I are looking forward to meeting you. I'll make some kind of CF burgee.

I live at Lagoon Point on the West side of Whidbey Island. It's about 3 miles North of Bush Point. Boat's at my dock in the back yard.
When we tell people that we have protected moorage on the West side of the island, hardly anybody believes me until they see it.
If you have Google Earth, zoom in on 48 43 W and 122 36 or so.
Move around and you'll see my trimaran at the North end of the East canal.
We are currently getting ready to pull the stick and do some work on it.
We'll be back sailing by May. We get to the San Juans every year for at least a few weeks. Barkley is calling too.

I'd like to meet with you in an anchorage this summer.
    We've got similar values.
