    Just in case people do read this stuff, I never read it...
    I started sailing as a toddler. The Yacht Club Uruguayo in Puerto del Buceo, Montevideo, Uruguay, was my second home. I started on the Penguin class (from sometime 1944 I think), then the Optimist came, but sailed only one season in those tiny boats, I was already to big for them, then sailed in something that was called Finnkeel here in Uruguay (never found this class outside here), then in Dragons, and then started in quarter tons, One tons amy other big boats. Moved to Germany back in 1984 and bought there a 470 which I had until a year after my wedding. My wife was against the boat and I had to sell. Never again cold I buy any type of boat. Moved back to Uruguay in 2010 and since then I sail when old friends invite me... last time was las year as crew member in regatta on board the Bonanza, a 12 meter sailing boat, a racing machine belonging to the Uruguayan Navy. As soon as I could I did my so called C Brevet (sailor license for a 10 mile circle with center in the harbour, then as I turned 18 I did my B Brevet (all the Uruguayan coast) and then the A Brevet (ocean license)... Lost all documents in some of my moving from houses within Germany and there seems to be no proof of me having taken those exams to be found anywhere... The only thing they found was my first license for a Dinghy within eyesight of the Club house... so, I'm a sailor with no boat, no license, no money for being a member in the Yacht Club nor to buy and maintain a boat, but with plenty of boat handling experience and an enormous love for the sea and sailing.
