Hello, my name is Jason and I responded publicly in the forum to your request. I live in the east bay and spent many years both sailing and motoring on the bay and coast as well as the delta. My family owned a 50 ft Grand Banks which we cruised to Mexico and back several times as well as many delta trips as far as Tower Park. I have hundreds of hours at the helm and was required to do ALL jobs as my father required it. I currently have been doing deliveries with a friend who is rated 50 ton USCG and split all watch time. I have an extensive mechanical background as we built and raced trucks in Baja. I have recently remarried and my new bride and I plan on buying a boat. She has been out with me on boats several times and loves it. Also, she is a great cook and very capable with all duties on the boat. It sounds like we could possibly help each other.
