Regarding your post on mobility, there are several points worth discussing. I write for several sailing magazines, have an article in-process regarding access issues (I have older parents, surgeries of my own, and my wife has a knee replacement), and have a boat (PDQ 34 catamaran) we could go out on that might help focus your thoughts. I will also be a the Annapolis show, and keep my boat 20 minutes from there.

I will comment on your questions on the forum, but get in touch with me if you are up for a day sail, perhaps with your dad, which could help you and give me some ideas too.
