    Hope I have the right guy re cat1,its a pain you must know about it,but my boat is being british regd,although I have had the plans checked & no problem & have most gear needed & my mate has done about 50000nm & Im a retired skipper,plus my boat has just about been round NZ with the right window will do it easy to Tonga.cheers.

    I want to make sure that we are talking about the same Autohelm. I did find a photo that has the unit in it, so if you email me, I'll attach the photo to my reply. That way we will be sure that it is what you are looking for. My email is: hminniear at ameritech.net. (site wouldn't allow actual email addr).
    These Autohelm parts are difficult to come by, at least here in Michigan. Last year I broke the bracket that holds the control unit, and it took some doing to come up with a new replacement. This is a good find if you are looking for spare parts; however, it is complete and functional.
    I look forward to hearing from you and confirming that this is what you are looking for.
