Hi Boardshorts,

I noticed after stumbling across one of your posts that you are the owner of the Lagoon 440, Chilli Cat. I live in Manly and have seen this in the harbour before.

My wife and I are keen to learn to sail as we have long term plans to sell up our house, purchase and live aboard our own catamaran. The lagoons are at the top of our list of catamaran makes due to their layout, size and versatility.

I just wanted to get in touch with people who own Lagoon's or similar catamarans so that I can start to learn everything that is to be known. I have had several lessons with Sail Away Charters (Ben Stark) on his monohul, but am keen to learn aboard something that I am intending to purchase in the future.

Are you a member of any of the yacht clubs in Manly?
